Workplace Diversity: Leadership in the 21st Century

    One - half day format (between four and six hours) for partners, associates and staff includes:

    • an overview of CCC’s conceptual framework regarding the positive and the negative dynamics of difference (i.e., value for, respect for and utilization of employees of diverse backgrounds or attitudes and behaviors which convey lack of value for, prejudice, discrimination and/or harassment);
    • participatory exercises to experience the positive and negative dynamics of difference;
    • relevant case studies and/or simulation to further explore issues of workplace diversity and the challenges of management and leadership.

    One and one-half day format for partners, supervisors and/or individuals includes:

    • overview of CCC’s conceptual framework;
    • exploration of a number of dimensions of difference -- including: communication and influencing style differences, gender differences, racial/cultural differences -- via case study and/or simulation exercises;
    • an opportunity to envision the values, norms, expectations and behaviors of a work environment which recognizes, understands, respects and effectively utilizes human diversity;
    • an opportunity to develop a next step(s) action plan to create, reinforce and/or maintain an optimal valuing-diversity work environment.
